This project features the demolition and re-build of the existing Namibian Ambassador’s Residence in Pretoria (RSA). The steep gradient of the Erf allows for jaw-dropping views over Pretoria. The brief required the residence to be divided into two main areas namely guest entertainment and meeting space. These areas were separated from the private residence situated on the upper ground floor level and is accommodated with its own entrance. Lush green terraces with natural stone and red facebrick are proposed to contribute to the natural element of the structure.

RESIDENCE VAN WYK
Residence Van Wyk is situated on the Omeya Golf Estate, 30 km South of Windhoek. The house is situated against a koppie that creates complete privacy towards the North, whilst the elevated front areas provide extended views of the golf course set against the picturesque Auas mountains as backdrop. The challenge with the design of this house was to create a unique residence all within very strict design regulations set by the estate. While adhering to the prescribed farm-like aesthetics, the house comprises of different building blocks arranged around a central court towards the back of the Erf, Care was taken to create flexible living spaces by providing 3 different living areas opening up onto 3 different stoep areas, optimising the Namibian culture of inside/outside living spaces.
KHOMAS VIEWS

Khomas Views is a multi-residential development with 31 units. Four different floor layouts with either 2 or 3 bedrooms were designed. Garden and garage space was adapted to offer potential Clients various options to suit their specific needs. In addition to the spacious plan design, the living area boast a double volume. This development was constructed using an ingenious concrete building method.
